The present text of Qur'an came from multiple authors using erroneous legends, myths, and stories. It has many additions, deletions,variant readings, and no primary source materials to support it. Muhammad and his followers just gathered pagan myths, misunderstood and poorly transmitted stories from christians and jews and many scientific misconceptions and myths of the time in arabia. Although muslims claim that the word allah was the name used by jews and christians to pray to God archeological evidence has shown us behind any doubt that the word allah was copied from the moon god prevalent in those days in arabia, see contradiction 18. Although muslims say that the quran is the pristine revelation of gabriel to muhammad the truth is that the quran was assambled many years after muhammad and uthman who controlled it purposely deleted many verses, burned many copies that did not suit his purposes and jumbled the verses in a confusing and arbitrary way. Remember that muslims say that if only one contradiction is found in the quran that would be proof that it is not from God. How about 100? Whilst other religious books like the bible which are in clear chronological order the quran reads like Tarantino's pulp fiction movie ie The verses have no chronological order and they have been garbled together in a very unclear method. Verses recited in the third year of muhammad's revelations have been mixed with verses recited in the twentieth year for no appahrent reason and most imams cannot explain why. However reading through early islamic history this idiosincracy becomes clear since the quran was written over a period of twenty years on stones, bones and leaves and it was an extremely diffiucult job to assamble them in a coherent form after muhammad's death. None of the verses had dates on them, many were forgotten or disappeared in the memory of muslims killed in battle and worse still some leaves were eaten by goats as many hadiths testify. Muslims also say that the quran is a perfectly clear book, this brings up this question: Why when muslim apologists try to explain the incredible mistakes in the quran they say that the confusion arises because a particular verse was mistranslated and in reality it means something else and in this proccess they give often between 5 and 10 different interpratations totally different one from the other? The problem arises because in arabic the root of a word can develop into numerous meanings sometimes even 30! On top of that ancient arabic did not have vowels instead they used punctuations and the slightest change in punctuation could change the meaning of a word into numerous permutations. Besides the languages into which the quran was written are not the same as the arabic used today in the quran so over the centuries the meaning of many verses kept changing. Muslim apologists are using this duplicity of the arab language to cover up monumental quranic mistakes. For example the meaning of the verse: 86:6] 'He is created from a drop emitted 86:7] Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs' has in present times been changed countless times to explain this 7th century misconception that the sperm comes from the kidneys and I have seen at least ten different re-interpretations of the words ribs and backbone, see conradiction 9. Recent discoveries in Yemen have shown that the quran was not peoperly assambled in one go after muhammad but it was constantly rewritten and changed for centuries! Read about it here

At length, unexpectedly, the Truth (the angel) came to him and said, Read! I cannot read, he Muhammad said. The Prophet described: Then he took me and squeezed me vehemently and then let me go and repeated the order: Read! I cannot read said I, and once again he squeezed me and let me till I was exhausted. Then he said: Read! I said: I cannot read. He squeezed me for a third time and then let me go and said:
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). Read! and your Lord is the Most Generous. [96:1-3] The Prophet repeated these verses. He was trembling with fear. At this stage, he came back to his wife Khadijah, and said, Cover me, ... cover me. They covered him until he restored security. He apprised Khadijah of the incident of the cave and added that he was horrified.

There are two important points:

1) Muhammad was illliterate! He could not read! Why did a God sent angel keep on torturing him by suffocating him repeatedly to make him read when he was unable to? Didn't gabriel know that muhammad could not read? How ridiculous! Some muslims have now changed the word read to recite however this does not make sense, anyone can repeat a recitation and surely none would constantly proclaim that they cannot repeat or recite a verse but an illiterate man would definetly protest that they cannot read when asked to read.

2) In the bible and other scriptures we often read of instances of angels appearing to humans, but in all instances the angel reassured and comforted the person whilst in the case of muhammad the angel terrified him, tortured him and then allowed him to live in a state of terror. As a consequence muhammad remained in a state of suicidal depression for many months. A modern physician would clearly diagnose a case of serious psychosis. Another muslim source says that: 'The angel came to him like the toll of a bell and this was the most difficult form because the angel used to seize him tightly and sweat would stream from his forehead even on the coldest day' This again shows high anxiety and psychosis.

3)We are told by Ibn Hesham, who wrote Muhammad's biography, that Khadija tested the spirit who squeezed Muhammad. She said to Muhammad: "Would you please tell me when the spirit comes to you?" When Muhammad told her of the spirit's arrival, Khadija said "Muhammad, sit on my left thigh." Muhammad sat on her left thigh. "Do you see the spirit?" she asked. "Yes." "Then sit on my right thigh." Muhammad sat on her right thigh. "Do you see the spirit?" she asked. "Yes," he answered. "Then sit on my lap." Muhammad sat on her lap. "Do you see the spirit?" she asked. "Yes," he answered. Khadija uncovered a feminine part of her body while Muhammad was sitting on her lap. "Do you see the spirit?" "No," he answered. Then Khadija said, "Muhammad, that spirit is an angel, not a devil" (Ibn Hesham, part 2, pages 74, 75). What a strange way to test a spirit!

[36:69] We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur-an making things clear:
Here 'allah' clearly says that the meaning of the quran verses are straightforward and not shrouded in mistery.. And again numerous quran verses state that the quran is a clear book with no double meaning: "These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.(alkitabialmubeeni) " [26:2] - "These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear; (kitabin mubeenin)" [27:1] - the Signs of Allah (are*) containing clear explanations 65:11: "These are Verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.(alkitabialmubeeni) " [28:2] - And We have indeed made the Qur-an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? 54:17

and in the hadiths a clear condemnation against believing in poetry:

Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 175: Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet said, "It is better for a man to fill the inside of his body with pus than to fill it with poetry."

Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 176: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle; said, "It is better for anyone of you that the inside of his body be filled with pus which may consume his body, than it be filled with poetry."

What is clear that over a period of 20 years muhammad, due to his poor memory, kept on forgetting the content of previous verses thus contradicting himself in later ones. Definitely not the work of an omniscent god! Read about the not so perfect memory of muhammad, whenever he forgot or muddled the verses he blamed allah for it saying that allah made him forget. LOL

Contradiction 1 - Why is allah praying to himself and praising himself? Remember that allah is supposed to be the speaker in the quran.

1/1 - 7. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgement. Thee do we worship and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straight way, The way of those Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray”.

This really is a bad one as it is a prayer to Allah, it is not Allah speaking. A clear mistake compared to what Islam tells: It is all sent down by Allah - and Allah does not pray to himself!!

17:1 Glory to (Allah) Who did take His Servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless

Again there is a huge mistake. First this verse says 'glory to allah' ( remember allah is speaking here ) then it goes on to say 'whose precincts we did bless' so in the same sentence he changes from praise to a third person to a 'we' sentence

Contradiction 2 - The belief of 7 firmaments was an old tale common on those days

2:29 ] It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; then He turned to the heaven and made them into seven firmaments. And of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

There aren't seven heavens or seven firmaments. That was a common belief held in those days by various schools of astronomy like the Greek and Egyptian. ones. Muhammad simply repeated those erroneous believes. As per usual muslims try to justify it by saying that seven in arabic does not mean seven but it means many (sic)! This is probably one if the funniest excuses given for a ridiculous verse.

78/12: “And have We (Allah*) built over you the seven firmaments - There he goes again with his seven firmaments hanging over the earth! The earth is not flat with 7 firmaments hanging over it, the earth is a small sphere surrounded by space all around!

67:3 He Who created the seven heavens one above another: no want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? And again he clearly confirms the arabic misconception of 7 heavens one on top of the other. This description of the sky is repeated so many times in the quran that it totaaly invalidates the excuse that muhammad might have used this description as a poetic licence in one of the suras

And again muhmammad shows his complete ignorance of basic anatomy repeating folk tales of the period [71:15] "`See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, [16] "`And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?
Muhammad's ignorance is at its worse here as he is repeating a common misconception of the day. He believes that above the earth there are seven heavens with the moon on the midst of them, there is nothing further away from basic astronomy than this absurd verse.

Contradiction 3 - Does Allah forgive shirk (polytheism)?

No: Sura 4:48
"Lo! Allah forgiveth not that a partner should be ascribed unto Him. He forgiveth (all) save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners to Allah, he hath indeed invented a tremendous sin."

No: Sura 4:116
"Lo! Allah pardoneth not that partners should be ascribed unto Him. He pardoneth all save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah hath wandered far astray."

Yes: Sura 4:153
"The people of the Scripture ask of thee that thou shouldst cause an (actual) Book to descend upon them from heaven. They asked a greater thing of Moses aforetime, for they said: Show us Allah plainly. The storm of lightning seized them for their wickedness. Then (even after that) they chose the calf (for worship) after clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) had come unto them. And We forgave them that!"

Yes: Sura 2:51-52And remember We appointed forty nights for Musa, and in his absence you took the calf (for worship), and ye did grievous wrong. Even then We did forgive you, there was a chance for you to be grateful.

Contradiction 4 - Who is at fault for disbelief?

People choose not to believe: Sura 30:8-9

"But truly many of mankind are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord. Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? They were stronger than these in power, and they dug the earth and built upon it more than these have built. Messengers of their own came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Surely Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves."

Allah does not allow people to believe: Sura 10:100

"No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt on those who will not understand."

Allah does not allow people to believe: Sura 35:8

"Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do!"

Commentary: In verses 30:8-9, Allah disclaims responsibility for people's disbelief, saying that he gave them "clear proofs" and did not force them, yet they still choose to reject him and ignore the evidence he provided. Clearly there is some element of individual choice implied here. Yet verses 10:100 and 35:8 say that we do not have free will and it is not our choice to believe or not - Allah sends us astray if he so chooses, and only by his will can we believe in him. (It must be very disturbing to Muslims to know that God will deliberately cause some of them to commit sins and then send them to eternal torture in Hell for it.)

Contradiction 5 - Did Jesus resurect after his death? Again muhammad is showing some serious memory problems. The official islamic version about Jesus is that he did not die on the cross but a double took his place, so Jesus did not die and did not resurrect.

4:157 - And for their saying: We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah, and they killed him not, nor did they cause his death on the cross, (a) but he was made to appear to them as such. (b) And certainly those who differ therein are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge about it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for certain -

YES

Yet according to this verse Jesus said the following whilst still in his craddle. [19:33] "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"

And this verse (3:55) When Allah said: O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence (Ya Isa, inni mutawaffika wa rafi'uka ilaiya) and clear thee of those who disbelieve and make those who follow thee above those who disbelieve (c) to the day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, so I shall decide between you concerning that wherein you differ .

Muslim apologists have now changed the translation from I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence to "I will take thee and raise you unto Myself". The key words here are : "Ya Isa, inni mutawaffika wa rafi’uka ilaiya," meaning: "O Isa! I shall cause you to die and I shall exalt you towards me….." The key word here is "wafat" . The most correct meaning of "wafat" is death, or take away soul. If soul is taken away from a person, it is nothing but death, even if it's just for a few minutes, and then sent back to the body.
The problem arises with regards to this verse, when Muslims refuse to interpret the meaning of "wafat" as death. The irony is that all scholars who translated the Holy Quran do agree "wafat" means death. Each and every scholar translated the word "wafat" as death in at least 20 different instances in their translations.

Contradiction 6 - First muhammad says that the quran is a 'clear' book then he says that much of it is of no clear meaning!

12:1 these are the Verses of the Clear Book 26:2 these are the Verses of the Clear Book 28:2 these are the Verses of the Clear Book

These verses clearly state that the quran is a clear book and easy to understand, however many arabs particularly the meccans used to confront muhammad about the contradictions and inconsistencies of the quran, so conviniently muhammad recited the following two verses

3:7 ] He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book; in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are not of well-established meaning. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is not of well-established meaning. Seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its true meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

This is truly unbelievable. Allah is saying that some verses are easy to understand and of clear meaning but there are verses which are obscure and impossible to understand cause only allah knows its true meaning. Why would God send down verses that nobody can understand or should try to understand? Is God just writing a memo for himself? This is probably a good way out for muhammad whenever he came up with verses that did not make any sense to anyone or to himself.

Contradiction 7 - Muhammad admits that the quran is full of contradictions but since it is from allah no contradictions are there!!!

4:82 “.. Had it been from other than Allâh, they would surely have found therein much contradictions...

If you read this verse carefully you will see that it is saying that if someone read the quran without anyone telling them that it is from allah they will find it full of contradictions. however once they know that it is from allah then they don't see any contradictions because they have been taught that allah cannot make mistakes! This verse is clearly stating that the quran is fill of contradictions and inconsistencies but blind faith can mask them.

Contradiction 8 - HOW LONG DID ALLAH TAKE TO CREATE THE HEAVENS AND EARTH?

Quran 10: 3 Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in SIX DAYS.
Quran 41: 9 to Quran 41: 12 state that allah created the earth in two days, then all the inhabitants and mountains in four days, then the seven firmaments in two days. So let us do our maths: 2+4+2 = guess what! 8 days! Allah never went to school to learn basic maths!

Contradiction 9 - HOW DID ALLAH CREATE MAN, CONGEALED BLOOD? CLAY? SPERM? NOTHING? A DROP FROM THE BACKBONE? WATER? A MIXTURE OF MALE AND FEMALE DISCHARGE? Here one begins to wonder if we are not faced with pure schizophrenia besides appalling memory as the narrations of the creation of man kept on changing over the years - 96:1-2] Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood - 15:26] We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape - 75:37] Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? ( here allah forgets that man is also made from a female egg and not just sperm) - 19:67] But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? - 86:5] Now let man but think from what he is created! 86:6] He is created from a drop emitted- 86:7] Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs - Sura 25:54 "And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever powerful." 16:4 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 75:37 Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth

Regarding the last two verses 16:4 and 75:37 muhammad is repeating a common misconception of the time that a child is produced by the mixing of male and female discharges. His allah is totally unaware that a child is born of a male sperm and a fertilised female ovum and a female ovum is not the same as female discharge!

Muhammad again and again claims that the quran is a book of clear understanding yet muslims who argue that Allah created people from all the above-listed things - blood, clay, dust, water, nothing and sperm - are still faced with the embarrassing difficulty of explaining why these six ingredients are randomly scattered around the book, listed individually in disparate verses that do not mention or reference each other besides the fact that each one is of dubious or absent scientific reality. And anyway, one would think an omnipotent God could simply create something ex nihilo, rather than all this tedious and pointless mucking about with blood, dust, sperm, water and whatever else it is he used, and verse 19:67 agrees, contradicting the other five: When Allah wants to create something, he creates it out of nothing!

Next comes one of the most idiotic responses from muslim apologists regarding 86:6] He is created from a drop emitted 86:7] Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs. We all know that this is medically and scientifically totally wrong as sperm does not come from between the ribs or spine. So the this is the muslim response from one of their main webistes: "A man's seed is the quintessence of his body. It is therefore said metaphorically to proceed from his loins, i.e., from his back between the hipbones and his ribs. His backbone is the source and symbol of his strength and personality. In his spinal cord and in the brain is the directive energy of the central nervous system, and this directs all action, organic and psychic. The spinal cord is continuous with the Medulla Oblongata in the brain ( http://www.answering-christianity.com/sex_determination.htm ) .It does not get any sillier than this! Because the spine represents the source of a man's strength metaphorically the sperm being the strength of a man comes also from there so allah knows best!!! Muslims by coming out with stuff like this have become their own worse enemies! And another even more ludicrous explanation is that in arabic rib means woman and backbone means man! What next??

And it is not over yet! Some other muslim apologists now say that because in the embriological state the testicles descend from the kidney area that proves that the quran is the word of allah! LOL 1) A drop emittted which creates a human being clearly refers to an act performed by an adult male and not by foetus! 2) Between the backbone and ribs also denotes any area between these two ranging from rib one close to the shoulders to rib twelve, so it can also mean the chest! 3) This is clearly a seventh century misconception derived from medical knoweldge of the time that believed that sperm comes from the upper body and descends down to the genitals. Again and again muhammad makes the same 7th century mistakes when he believs that the foetus is congealed blood or that the foetus is formed by a combination of sperm and menstrual blood.

Stop press! The latest from muslim apologists is that this verse describes the fact that sperm comes somewhere between the sacrum and the first rib, so it could come from anywhere between these two points. Why is allah so vague!? Besides the sperm comes from the testicles and the testicles hang outside the body to keep the sperm cool, so sperm does not come in an undifined area between the first rib and the sacrum!!!

The joke is getting bigger by the day! Read this one! Now another 'learned imam' has said that this verse has nothing to do with sperm production but it describes the foetus in the womb of the woman! So according to him all other translations and interpretations are wrong as it never spoke of the procreative power of a man but instead is a description of foetal life cause the womb is situated between the rib and the backbone! Is it? How far will this madness go?

Contradiction 10 - Whenever muhammad wants to change his mind about something he creates a different verse.

[2: 106] None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?"

Why would an all-knowing God have to change what He says and bring something better? Can God not give the best to start with? And why when allah substitutes a verse he leaves the previous one in the quran? This can be very confusing since one does not know if he is reading a valid or abrogated verse. This is again muhammad covering his back whenever he wanted to change a revelation to suit himself. Read about abrogation in more detail as it reveals the double standards of the quran and muhammad's duplicity

Contradiction 11 - One of the biggest mistakes in the quran is muhammad confusing Miriam the sister of Moses with Mary the mother of Jesus. Miriam the sister of Moses lived about 1300 years before Mary the mother of Jesus!

Again and again muhammad keeps on getting facts wrong and one of the most serious errors is when 'allah' describes the parents and brothers of Mary the mother of Jesus. In this case again we can see that allah is just a figment of the immagination of a very ignorant person.
19:28] "O sister of Harun! thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"
Harun was the brother of Moses and Miriam was their sister, 'allah' is confusing Miriam the mother of Moses and Harun with Mary the mother of Jesus.
In the quran chapter 3 named Miriam allah narates how a daughter was born to the wife of Imran the father of Moses, she was called Miriam and she became the motherr of Jesus. [3:35-45] Behold! a woman of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service: so accept this of me: for Thou hearest and knowest all things." 3: 36] When she was delivered, she said: "O my Lord! behold! I am delivered of a female child!" - and Allah knew best what she brought forth - "and no wise is the male like the female. I have named her Maryam, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected." Again if you read these verses from 3:35 to 3:45 you can see the huge mistake made by muhammad in describing that Mary the mother of Jesus was the daughter of Imran the father of moses and harun. Muhammad is clearly confusing Myriam the daughter of Imran and sister of Moses with Myriam the mother of Jesus Moses is supposed to have lived 1300 years before Christ! How big a mistake is that!
And yet again one more time in verse [66:12] we see allah making the same mistake. "And Maryam, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of his Revelations, and was one of the devout (Servants)."

Muslims keep on jumping through incredible loops to justify the huge mistakes in the quran. In this case they say that in the same manner that Jesus occasionally was called the son of David in a deferential form in the same way muhammad used to call Mary the daughter of Imran. However in these verses muhammad clearly states the father, mother and brothers of Mary giving an accurate description of her family showing that he had completely muddled up the story of Jesus

Contradiction 11b - Going back to the above verse: 66:12 "And Maryam, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of his Revelations, and was one of the devout (Servants)." I can point out another HUGE contradiction. Muslims keep on repeating that it does not beget allah to have sons and that it is a blasphemey to say that Jesus was the son of God invalidating the belief that Mary was made pregnant by the holy spirit ( which is one with God ). Yet in this verse it clearly says that allah breathed her spirit into Mary. Is the spirit of allah different from allah? Muslims mock the belief of the trinity yet they seem to be saying that the spirit of allah is not allah himself, perhaps they belief in two into one!

HUGE CONTRADICTION PLEASE READ Contradiction 11c - First allah says that he sent his spirit to Mary in the guise of a man but then he forgets what he said previously and in another verse he says that he sent a her a legion of angels with no mention of a 'holy spirit' or a man!

[19:17] While a barrier separated her from them, we sent to her our Spirit. He went to her in the form of a human being
[3:42] The angels said, "O Mary, GOD has chosen you and purified you. He has chosen you from all the women

In verse 19:17 allah sent his holy spirit in the guise of a man but in 3:42 no mention of holy spirit or man but a group of angels went to mary
The question is: is allah suffering from senility when he forgets what he said in a previous verse?

Muslim apologists try to hide this huge mistake by saying that these verses relate to two different occasions so let us look at all the verses around this event which clearly narrate the time when an angel appeared to Mary and annonced to her that she will beget a son from God without being touched by a man. You will be able to see without the shade of a doubt that the same event is being narrated with two totally different versions. Definetely not a mistake that if allah was all knowing could make!

First the verses in chapter 3: [42] Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee, chosen thee above the women of all nations.
[43] "O Maryam! worship thy Lord devoutly; prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down." [44] "This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Prophet!) by inspiration: thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam: nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). [45] Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah giveth Thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Al-Masih 'Isa. The son of Maryam, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; 45] Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah giveth Thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Al-Masih 'Isa. The son of Maryam, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; [46] "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous." [47] She said: "O my Lord! how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: when He hath decreed a Plan, He but saith to it, `Be', and it is!

Now let us read the verses in chapter 19: 17] She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. [18] She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah." [19] He said: "Nay, I am only a Messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son." [20] She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" [21] He said: "So (it will be): thy Lord saith, 'That is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': it is matter (so) decreed."

So again we read verse [3:47] She said: "O my Lord! how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: when He hath decreed a Plan, He but saith to it, `Be', and it is! And again in chapter 19 the same verse is repeated almost word by word clearly showing that the quran in both chapters is talking of the same event [19:20] She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"

You can clearly read that the in both parts of the quran muhammad is narrating the event where an angel appears to mary to announce her pregnancy but in one section the quran says it was an angel in the guise of a man and in another it says it was a legion of angels! This mistake is so huge that just by itlself it can destroy islam!

Contradiction 12 - allah did not even know that the earth is not flat!

Look how many times the quran says that allah created the earth flat! This mistake appears so many times in the quran that a new page is needed to list them all. Click here.

Contradiction 13 - Allah says that he joined heaven and earth but another verse says that he split them apart!

21:30] Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe. [4:11] Moreover, He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke: He said to it and to the earth: "Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly." They said: "We do come (together), in willing obedience." Besides the earth and the sky have never been joined together or are not joined together. This is another silly seventh century misconception caused by the optical illusion that the sky is a solid structure hanging above us. Allah did not have the slightest clue about astronomy.

Latest! Some muslim jokers are now saying that in verse 21:30 the words 'We clove them asunder' represent the big bang. Nothing in these words tell us anything about the big bang. All through the quran the 'Heavens' means the stars, the planets, the nebulae, the galaxies etc. together with all the empty space. In that sense, the earth is still joined together with the heavens. Besides 'we clove them asunder' denotes that the earth was created at the same time as the big bang as with this explosion according to muslims the earth and heavens were created as two units however note that the big bang happened 14 billion years ago whilst the earth was formed 4.5 billion years ago, that is almost 9 billion years later! Also from another planet, the earth will look part of the heavens as heavens and earth are not two separate units. All this verse is doing is to reiterate the ancient misconception that the earth is a flat expanse with the heavens above and that at one stage they were joined together before allah split them apart or according to another verse he brought them together. Oh yes then they say that the quran is divine cause allah says that all life comes from water. This idea is stolen from the Bible passage (Genesis 1:20): "And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life..."

Another point that destroys the stupid assumption that the above verse 21:30 'we clove them asunder ( the heavens and earth ) means the big bang is that the elements present at the time of the big bang were protons, neutrons, electrons and photons. There was no earth or 'sky' present.

Contradiction 14 - Muhammad did not know that the gospels had not been sent to jesus as a book of revelations but were written years later as a narration of his life.

[5:46] And in their footsteps We sent 'Isa the son of Maryam, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.

again the same mistake is made in this verse: [5/110] Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel.

I should mention that some Muslims explain that the Quran does not really mean the Gospels in the Bible, but a mythical “first one” that was given to Jesus. It is obvious that Mohammad’s mistake had to be discovered - and an “explanation” had to be found - because the mistake was too easy to see for anyone who had read NT. There is nothing in the Quran indicating that Mohammad meant anything else than the real Gospels.

Contradiction 15 - Muhammad describes allah as a capricious being who punishes and rewards according to his whims, certainly not the image of a just God

[5:18] (Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and His beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men, of the men He hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth:

15b - This is even worse: Qur'an 2:6 "As for the disbelievers, it is the same whether you warn them or not; they will not believe. Allah has set a seal upon their hearts, upon their hearing, and a covering over their eyes. There is a great torment for them." How can a spirit be so perverse, so evil, that he precludes people from knowing him. And he does it so that he can torture them.

15 c - And there is more about allah's cruelty 4:88] Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the way, never shalt thou find the Way. Can you believe this? Allah trhows people out of the way and he never allos them to find the way back to salvation.

Contradiction 16 - Will Christians and Jews go to Heaven?

Yes: Sura 5:69
"Lo! those who believe, and those who are Jews, and Sabaeans, and Christians - whosoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - there shall no fear come upon them, neither shall they grieve."

No: Sura 3:85
"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost."

Contradiction 17 - Jesus never used the word allah or say to his disciples to worship allah neither did the disciples of jesus called themselves muslims, this was clearly a lie by muhammad

[5:72]“But said Christ; ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord‘” and again in this verse the same absurd lie is repeated, nowhere in the bible or gospels it is written that the disciples of jesus worshipped allah and called themselves muslims: [111] "And behold! I inspired the Disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger; they said, `We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims.'

Contradiction 18 - It is now a known archeological fact that the kabha in Mecca prior to muhammad was a place of worship for the pagans of the time, one of the main deities was the moon-god al-ilah, and its symbol was the crescent moon, hence the name allah and the symbol of the crescent moon. The pagans also worshipped the stone of kabha which is today the most revered artifact in islam. Muhammad tried to hide all this by saying that the structure housing the khaba was build by Abraham and had always been the place of worship of monotheist religions. This is archeologicaly and historically untrue as many similar temples of the moon god have been excavated in the area recently and most definetly abraham never travelled to mecca. 2/125 “- - - We covenanted with Abraham and Ishmael, that they should sanctify my House (Kabah in Mecca*)” - 2/127 “And remember that Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundations of the House (Kabah*)

The late Dr. Taha Husayn (the most famous professor of Arabic literature in Egypt) acknowledges that the information recorded in the Qur'an pertaining to the construction of Ka'ba at the hand of Abraham and Ishmael is not historically documented. He said: "The case of this episode is very obvious because it is of recent date and came into vogue just before the rise of Islam. Islam exploited it for religious reasons" (quoted in Mizan al-Islam by Anwar al-Jundi, p. 170). This declaration invoked the rage of the Muslim scholars against him. The former president of Tunisia did the same thing when he stated that the Qur'an contains mythical stories. Muslim scholars revolted against him and threatened to kill him because these are Muhammad's orders - kill anybody who insults the Qur'an. So what could Taha Husayn or Abu Ruqayba [better known in the West as Bourgiba] (or we) do if the Qur'an rejects the most scientifically documented historical stories? Are we supposed to shut up our mouth and close our minds lest we be killed?

Contradiction 19 - The earth is not dead!

2/164: “- - - the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives to an earth which is dead”. Any god had known it was alive with roots or seeds, not dead - it only looked so.

Contradiction 20 - Mountains have not been created to stabilise the earth! This is in complete contradiction with basic geological science and it was a superstition prevalent in ancient arabia.

67:31] And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive guidance.

Contradiction 22 - In this long series of verses allah describes how the Israelites were led astray by a Samaritan whilst Moses was receiving the commandments, but at the times of Moses the samaritans did not even exist! He [Allah] said, "We have tempted thy people since thou didst leave them. The Samaritan has led them into error." Then Moses returned ... and we cast them [(gold) ornaments], as the Samaritan also threw them, into the fire." (Then he brought out for them a Calf, a mere body that lowed; and they said, "This is your god, and the god of Moses, whom he has forgotten.") ... Moses said, "And thou, Samaritan, what was thy business?" -- Sura 20:85-88, 95

How can a Samaritan have led the Israelites astray at the time of Moses [about 1400 B.C.] when the city of Samaria was founded by King Omri in about 870 B.C. (see 1 Kings 16:24)? But "the Samaritans" as a distinct people only emerged after the exile of the Northern kingdom of Israel and the resettlement of the area under king Sargon II in after 722 B.C. with non-Israelites which then adopt a syncretism [mixture] between the religion of the Jews and their own polytheistic background. Hence, it is historically impossible that a Samaritan could have led the Israelites into idolatery in the time of Moses. This is another time compression of at least 500, but rather 700 years.

Where does this confusion come from? Muhammad has clearly confused a biblical story written at the times of Solomon with the story of Moses, an error that he often commits.

After the reign of Solomon the children of Israel were divided in the Southern kingdom of Judah and the Northern kingdom of Israel, but still the only legitimate place of worship was the temple in Jerusalem. Probably in order to legitimize his rule, Jerobeam I also instituted places of worship in his kingdom and put up a calf in each of them (1 Kings 12:26-33). But God clearly denounced this as pagan through his prophets (v. 30; 3 Kings 10:29; 17:16; 2 Chronicles 13:8). Samaria then later became the capital of this (Northern) kingdom of Israel. But there is one very clear passage in the prophet Hosea which might be the root of the confusion between the two "calf worship" incidents, the one in the desert at Moses time, and the other in the kingdom with capital Samaria.

Throw out your calf-idol, O Samaria! My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of purity? They are from Israel! This calf - a craftsman has made it; it is not God. It will be broken in pieces, that calf of Samaria. -- Biblical story Hosea 8:5-6

The Qur'anic account continues in 20:97 [in excerpts] with
(Moses) said [to the Samaritan]: "Get thee gone! But thy (punishment) will be that thou wilt say, 'Touch me not'; ... Now look at thy god, of whom you hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly burn it in blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"

You can clearly see the similarity between the above verses. Of course muslim apologists yet again are bending backwards to justify this error in a hundred ways but if you are interested in this topic you can read the absurdity of their rebutals here.

Contradiction 23 - Lust and Sex - This one is not just a contradiction but it is the MOTHER OF ALL LIES. Muslims say that the quran is allah's gift to humanity. The truth is that the quran was dictated by muhammd to satisfy his lust and desire for booty and slaves. You can see from the following verses that whenever muhammad craved for sex for a woman even if she was married to his son 'allah' would conviniently reveal a verse sanctioning that muhammad was allowed to take her! Contradiction 24 - Slave trader - Both the quran and hadiths state that allah gave the right to muhammad to capture slaves and do as he pleased with them. Muslim captors could freely have sex with their slaves or they could sell them or swap them for goods like horses. Muhammad used to raid villages, kill all the men and pubescent teenagers and keep the women and children as slaves. Muslims say that this is a lie yet all the hadiths describe in great detail this cruel and barbaric practice,

8:41 And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah, and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer, if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to our Servant on the Day of Testing, the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things. rules according to sharia about having sex with a slave woman

So muhammad had the first choice on the fifth of all the booty. The justification was that he was going to use it for charity! The reality is that he used this verse to have first choice on all the best looking female slaves. Contradiction 25 - Muhammad was ignorant of the most basic facts about other religions and he quoted them from mistaken hearsay.

9:30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Al-Masih the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

Uzair or Ezra in hebrew was a respected jewish scholar but jews never claimed that he was the son of god, that would have been blasphemy to them! Muhammad did not have a clue of what he was talking about. Some muslim apologists try to justify this colossal mistake by saying that the verse says 'some jews' but all arab and quranic scholars have always translated it as 'the jews' and not 'some jews'. Other muslim apologists say that arab jews believed in Ezra as the son of God, even if this was true howcome 'allah' did not know that this was not a belief held by the greatest majority of jews? Contradiction 26 - This is another unbelievable error made in the quran. Muhammad narrates that the pharoh of egypt ordered that the sorcerers should be punished by having their hands and feets cut on opposite sides and then crucified. This was the punishment that muhammad had ordered on the kaffirs who rejected his revelation but there was never such a punishment in Egypt and there is absoluteky no evidence that the pharohs had ordered such a punishment.

7:124 "Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross."

Contradiction 27 - The quran claims that muhammd split the moon into two [54: 1] The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. 2] But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic." First there is no record of this monumental event ever taking place Secondly such an event would create enough debris to destroy most of life on earth.

Muslim apologists have again gone through incredible sumersault to explain away this absurdity. They now say that this event did not happen during muhammad's life but this is a prophecy of the landing on the moon in 1969! Unfortunately for them anyone with a certain knowledge of islamic scriptures can see from the hadiths that this was an event that muhammad supposedly did during his life time. Here are the hadiths:

Narrated Anas bin Malik: "The people of Mecca asked Allah's Apostle to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hiram' mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 208)"

Narrated 'Abdullah: "The moon was split ( into two pieces ) while we were with the Prophet in Mina. He said, "Be witnesses." Then a Piece of the moon went towards the mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 209)"

Narrated Abdullah bin Masud: "During the lifetime of the Prophet the moon was split into two parts and on that the Prophet said, 'Bear witness (to thus).' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 830)"

"This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud (who said): We were along with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) at Mina, that moon was split up into two. One of its parts was behind the mountain and the other one was on this side of the mountain. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to us: Bear witness to this. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book Giving Description of the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (Kitab Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa'l Janna wa'n-Nar), Bukhari Book 039, Number 6725)"

And the madness goes on! The latest claim from the muslim jokers is that the moon was split into two when the astraunots landed on the moon in July 21 1969 cause they took 21 kgs of rock samples to bring back to earth! How do they associate taking debris and rocks from the moon surface to actually splitting the moon into two halves? Taking rocks is not the same as splitting! If they had caused the moon to break into two halves we would have had a major cataclism on earth. The claims that muslims make are getting crazier by the day! The argument is that those rock samples left the moon broken into many fragments. Really? taking some rocks does not cause the moon to break into smaller fragments! It is like saying that if we take rock samples from the surface of the earth it will cause it to break into many pieces!

Contradiction 28 - There is absolutely no evidence that the earth first came into creation and then came the 'heavens', the concept of 7 heavens above the earth was a common mistaken belief in those days, muhammad just repeated it, certainly not the words of a god!

29] It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; then He turned to the heaven and made them into seven firmaments. And of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

Contradiction 29 - This is a very silly one! Allah had no idea that night and day are cause by the earth rotation and not by the sun amd moon rotation.

Quran 36: 40 It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to law).

Allah is indeed a big scientist. Where is sun and where is moon situated? Can anybody tell me how they could collide/meet/overtake each other? Are the sun and the moon neighbors to each other? I have the answer for this error: Ancient Allah saw (bare eye observations) sun and moon traveling from east to west seemingly in the same Sky area or same path, without colliding, causing day and night etc. Allah hardly could imagine that all these phenomena are simply due to Earth's rotation and NOT by Suns rotation. Sun is stationary for Earth, because earth is stuck in the sun's Gravity, like we are stuck in earth's gravity. Allah never says any where in the whole Quran that, EARTH ROTATES. Perhaps Allah could not feel earth's rotation.

Contradiction 29b - This verse again shows the same ignorance of basic astronomy as muhammad was unaware of a total solar eclipse when the sun can obscure the moon thus showing the moon in darkness. He claimed that such an event could only occur at the 'end of days' or day of resurrection 5] But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. [6] He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" [7] At length, when the Sight is dazed, [8] And the moon is buried in darkness. [9] And the sun and moon are joined together, [10] That Day will Man say; "Where is the refuge?" [11] By no means! No place of safety

Contradiction 30 - Contradiction 29 gets even sillier here, muhammad thought that the sun goes into a resting place at night after travelling over the earth. Allah had forgotten that he had created the earth rotation and that the sun does not go into a resting place.

Quran 36: 38 And the sun runneth on unto a resting place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.

The hadiths or life stories of muhammad confirmed this ancient belief that the sun 'runs' a fixed course!

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 421 Narrated Abu Dhar:
The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All-Knowing." (36.38)

Contradiction 31 - Again allah makes the same mistake as in contradiction 30 and 31 describing the moon and rotating over the earth

39] And the Moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.

Contradiction 31 - The science of the quran again reaches its heights of ignorance when it describes the earth as a resting place with skies suspended above it. Again allah did not know that in the universe the earth is a small sphere surrounded by space all around

Quran 21: 32 And We have made the sky a roof withheld (from them). Yet they turn away from its portents. Quran 31: 10 He hath created the heavens (Skies) without supports (pillars) that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm Mountains/Hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed Quran 2: 22: Who has made the earth your couch, And the heavens (Sky) your canopy

Modern science tells us- whole thing around the earth is space and there is no boundary even if we go Billions of light years away in all directions. Questions are: When there is no sky above us then how in the world, it needs pillars for support? Do we really have a roof above us? Is there a canopy above the Earth? Are there invisible pillars that humans cannot see but are there? Is there anything called above or beneath us? Are mountains there to prevent Earth from shaking?

And again this idiocy is repeated in this verse: "...He withholds the sky from falling on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man." 22:65.

This implies the sky is a dome above the earth and if it falls it'll damage the earth or kill people. Sky is not solid, is not raised and the atmosphere is contiguous with the earth and surrounds it on all sides and it is gravity that holds the atmosphere. Besdies, there's no absolute "up" and "down".

23:14] Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the Best to create! 96: 2 Created man, out of a mere clot of congealed blood

Blood clot cannot grow into anything. This idea also came from the Greek. Aristotle erroneously believed that, humans are originated from the action of male semen upon female menstrual blood, which is absolutely an incorrect assumption. Quran's assertion on Clot (alaqa) is completely wrong about human development, since there is absolutely no stage during which the embryo consists of a clot. The only situation in which an embryo might appear like a clot is during a miscarriage, in which case the clotted blood that is seen to emerge (much of which comes from mother) is solidified and by definition no longer alive. Therefore, if ever an embryo appeared to look like a clot it would never develop any further into a human; it would be a dead mass of bloody miscarrying flesh. Since Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had some thirteen wives it is entirely possible that he would be very familiar with miscarriages.

Modern science tells us that, the formation of human embryo is a seamless continuation from conception to birth; hence there are no hard- and- fast boundaries of stages as Quran describes. Quran describes 4 stages, which matches exactly with Galenic description of development of human embryo (which was proved wrong by modern science).

Creation of bones and clothing of bones with flesh: According to modern embryologists including Prof. Moore, the tissue from which bone originates, known as mesoderm, is the same tissue as that from which muscle (flesh) develops. Thus bone and muscles begin to develop simultaneously, rather than sequentially (as the Quran is telling us). Moreover, most of the muscle tissue that we humans have is laid down before birth, but bones continue to develop and calcify (strengthen with calcium) right into one's teenage years. So it would be more accurate if the Quran had said that muscles started to develop at the same time as bones, but completed their development earlier. The idea that bones are clothed with flesh is not only scientifically completely wrong/false, but was directly copied from the ancient Greek doctor Galen�s hypothesis.

Also, the idea of saying: made into bones and clothed the bones with muscle came from the technique of making animal statue out of rod and cement or mud. People usually make the skeleton (out of rod or stick) first and, then cover it up with cement or mud. This is scarcely a scientific description of embryonic development. It is rather a description of an unlettered man.

Contradiction 32 - Many muslims like to recite a verse in the quran that says that there should be no compulsion in religion, however the reality in their ideal sharia or perfect islamic state is one of persecution of other faiths and of a death sentence for any action or word that is interpreted as an offence against islam

2:256 There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is clearly from the wrong way. ... therefore, let them not wrangle over this matter with you,

However in a true Islamic State:

-Those who are not muslims, jews or christians cannot reside in a muslim state ie Buddhists, hindus, taoists, jains, animists, pagans, agnostics, humanists, atheists and so forth have no place in an islamic state.

-Non muslims. jews and christians, are not free to worship their God and preach their religion in public-Churches and synagogues cannot be built, and existing ones are not allowed to be repaired

-Death galore! Leaving Islam is punishable by death, criticising islam is punishable by death, criticising muhammad is punishable by death, criticising the quran is punishable by death, a non muslim cannot marry a muslim as this is punishable by death

-Jews and Christians have to pay a Dhimmi tax, in return for protection given their inferior status. They cannot: 1) hold public office 2) Bear weapons
3) Ride camels or horses 4) Mourn loudly 5) Complain against the state even when treated unfairly 6) Give witness in court against a muslim 7) Offering an oath in a Muslim court of law 7) Dress in the same way that Arabs dressed. Also, dhimmis were sometimes forced to wear distinct clothing, such as forcing all Jews to wear a yellow badge. Contradiction 33 - This contradiction expands further on contradiction 32. Howcome the quran in one verse says that there should be no compulsion in religion whilst other verses clearly state that anyone who leaves islam is an apostate who deserves eternal damnation? The hadiths or life stories of muhammad clearly bear witness to the fact that critics of islam or anyone who left islam was put to death. The explanation is very simple. The quran has two distinct periods; The first in Mecca was when muhammad started preaching and he tried to be conciliatory to christians, jews and even pagans. When after ten years the meccans failed to be impressed by his visions and revelations muhammad travelled to medina. There he claimed that the meccans were trying to kill him and that allah had given him a new revelation ordering him to plunder carovans and attack vilages killing all the males including prebuscent teenagers whilst keeping children and women to be used as slaves. The nature of the verses in this second period became far more bloody and bellicose. The problem in the quran is that there is no chronological order to the mecca and medina verses and they have been garbled together making the reading very confusing. Again we have a clear example of muhammad making up verses when he decided to become a slave trader and war lord.

Example of mecca verses: 73:10 And bear with patience what unbelievers utter, and part from them with a fair leave-taking, The next verse says not to use coercion with the unbelievers: 50:45 We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat and so forth....

Example of medina verses: 9:29 Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low. Qur'an 5:51 "O believers, do not hold Jews and Christians as your friends. They are friends of one another; and anyone who makes them his friends is one of them."
4:115] As for him who opposes the messenger, after the guidance has been pointed out to him, and follows other than the believers' way, we will direct him in the direction he has chosen, and commit him to Hell; what a miserable destiny and so forth

Contradiction 34 - Again and again the ignorance of basic science such as the earth not being flat with heavens suspended above it is shown in this verse. When muhammad gets things wrong muslims say that the verse only was meant as poetry however remember the quran verse that says: 36:69] We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur-an making things clear. In the verse below he first describes the earth as being a different entity from the heavens or the rest of the cosmos and then he goes on to say that the night is like a veil over the day but nowhere in the quran does he ever mention that night and day are caused by the rotation of the earth over its axis! Allah knows not!

54] Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself on the Throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His Command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds!

Contradiction 35 - In these verses muhammad is narrating the story of moses and the pharaon of egypt and he says that 'allah' as a punishment against the pharaon for not allowing the jews to migrate from his lands levelled to the grounds the main works and buildings of Egypt. Considering that the exodus happened around the year 1235 BC (a few years before the end of the reign of Ramses II) there is absolutely no archeological or historical evidence to show that any such cataclism happened in egypt. Matter of fact Ramses left behind me a large number of monuments and buildings. THIS IS AGAIN MUHAMMAD REPEATING FOLKLORE STORIES CIRCULATING IN THE ARABIC WORLD AT THE TIME. This again proves that allah was a figment of muhammad's immagination.

7/137: “- - - We (Allah*) levelled to the ground the great works and fine Buildings which Pharaoh and his people had erected - - -

Contradiction 36 - Mankind was never a nation, nation implying one ruler, a set of laws and clear identity. This was another folk tale of the time.

10:19] Mankind was but one nation, but differed (later). Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, their differences would have been settled between them.

Contradiction 37 - 10:37: “This Quran is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. This is a really stupid assertion. Considering the beautiful works of literature and poetry written over the ages the quran by comparison sounds like a book full of threats and curses written by an angry adolescent. Besides is full of folk tales of the time without a iota of scientific facts or historical accuracy.

Contradiction 38 - 10:39: “ - - - (the Quran*) whose knowledge they cannot compass, - - -”. For the uneducated, often analphabetic members of Muhammad’s early followers, that might be true. But it is not true today - and we see that a lot of the “facts” Muhammad used are wrong - something a god had known.

Contradiction 39 - 10:64: “Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah.This is indeed the supreme Felicity.” The first sentence may partly explain why Muslims cannot admit the mistakes, no matter how wild “explanations” they have to use and why they are stuck in the superstitions and folklore of seventh century arabia.

Contradiction 40 - 10:90: “I (Ramses II) believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam) (= became a Muslim*)”. One more thing we know about Ramses II (see 10/90), is that he was a polytheist and never a Muslim. This is another idiotic fabrication of muhammad as we now know a lot about Ramses II and we know for sure that he never became monotheistic or changed his religion.

Contradiction 41 - Here allah is contradicting himself, first he saysin verse 19 tells that “travellers” found Joseph in the well where his brothers had thrown him, and took him for a slave. Verse 20 tells his brothers sold him for a few dirhams (coins). Both cannot be true.

19] Then there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well). He said: "Ah there! good news! here is a (fine) young man!" so they concealed him as a treasure! but Allah knoweth well all that they do!
[20] The (Brethren) sold him for a miserable price, for a few dirhams counted out: in such low estimation did they hold him!

Contradiction 42 - Here 'allah' is telling muhammad the story of joseph in egypt when he was imprisoned with two others [41] "O my two companions of the prison! as to one of you, he will pour out the wine for his lord to drink: as for the other, he will hang from the cross, and the birds will eat from off his head. (So) hath been decreed that matter whereof ye twain do enquire." The other could not have hanged from a cross as this was not a punishment in those days in egypt! Here muhammad is relating some poorly transmitted stories from the bible/

Contradiction 43 - 12:51: Here the pharaon of egypt questions two women accused of trying to corrupt Joseph (The pharaon) said (to the ladies): "What was your affair when ye did seek to seduce Yusuf from his (true) self?" The ladies said: "Allah preserve us! no evil know we against him!" said the 'Aziz's wife:. The name and the god Allah did not exist in the old polytheistic pantheon in Egypt - and definitely not among the upper class (from slaves and traders they might have heard about Yahweh, but not Allah, and hardly al-Lah). Their gods were Osiris, Athon, Amon, and other ones. Allah is definetly making up stories here!

Contradiction 44 - 30:48] It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when. What happens is not that the clouds break apart, but straight opposite: That droplets come together to form drops. Allah does not have a clue on the formation of rain.

Contradiction 45 - 31:10: “He created the heavens (plural and wrong) without any pillars that you can see - - -”. The Quran tells that the 7 heavens rest on invisible pillars but there are no 7 heavens and there are no invisible pillars, again muhammad is just repeating a common misconception of seventh century arania. Remember the verses where allah says that th quran does not contain poetic licences!

Contradiction 46 - 34:9: “- - - We (Allah*) could cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them.” The sky as we see it is an optical illution (Muhammad believed it was something material that the stars was fastened to). How can a piece of an optical illution - a mirage so to say - fall down upon someone? Muslimd tend to “explain” this with that the Quran talks about a shooting star. But the book other places it talks about such falling stars, and even though it believes it to be ordinary stars, it very clearly knows the difference between this and the sky. There is no doubt it is talking about a piece of the sky itself.This again confirms the erroneous belief that the earth is flat with the sky suspended above it.

Contradiction 47 - 34:12] And to Sulaiman (We made) the Wind (obedient): its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from Our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire
So according to mighty allah salomon built his temple and buildings with the help of ghosts and spirits!

Contradiction 48 - 34:14] Then, when We decreed (Sulaiman's) death, nothing showed them his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his staff: so when he fell down, the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their Task).
Here allah is claiming that he cursed salomon to death and he laid dead for a long time and nobody was aware that he he was dead! This tale is ludicrous because: 1) A mighty king not talking for a long enough while, would be addressed by his staff. 2) A mighty king not going to bed in the evening would be addressed by his staff.. 3) Surely someone would have noticed rigor mortis. 4) In the climate of Jerusalem - even in winter (after all there would be a fire) - his body would start decomposing. Everyone had to notice that.

Contradiction 49 - 35:1: “- - - Allah, who created (out of nothing) the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth -
Again and again 'allah' keeps on making the same mistake in citing the earth as separate and than numerous heavens above it

Contradiction 50 - 36:2: “By the Quran, full of Wisdom... This must be a joke. How can a book full of superstitious tales, mistakes and contradictions can have any wisdom whatsoever. Besides is full of violence, curses and poor excuses for sexualabuse, slave trade and looting.

Contradiction 51 - 36:36: “- - - Allah, Who created in pairs all things - - -”. Wrong. Only multi cellular plants and animals are in pairs - and far from all of those, too. No unicellular life exists in pairs - and they are far more aboundant both in number and species. Allah does not have a clue about basic biology!

Contradiction 52 - 36:39: “- - - till she (the Moon*) returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk (that takes a crescent form*)”. Wrong. The moon does not become a crescent - it only looks like that, and even Mohammad could see that, if he had been observant: Within the circle indicated by the crescent, and that in reality is covered by the moon, you never see a star. Any god had known this.

Contradiction 53 - 36:40: “It is not permitted for the Sun to catch up the Moon - - -”. It is not physical possible for the sun to catch up the moon - not in some 5 billion years. A god should have known that.

Contradiction 54 - 37:6+7: “We (Allah*) have decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars - (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits.”There are no lower heavens and the stars are throughout the universe not just in the fictionary lower heavens of the quran.

Contradiction 55 - 38:36: “ Then We (Allah*) subjected the wind to his (Solomon’s*) power - - -”. This needs strong evidence - I hardly believe Solomon was able to regulate temperature and air pressure in the atmosphere in such a way as to be the director of the wind.

Contradiction 56 - 39:5: “He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night - - -”.57:6: “He (Allah*) merges Night into Day, and Day into Night - - -”. Wrong. That is done by the sun and the earth rotation, as the night really is just a shadow. Again and again the quran shows that allah is totally ignorant of the earth's rotation.

Contradiction 57 - 2:144: “The people of the Book (= Jews, Christians and Sabeans*) know very well that that (the reason for changing the kiblah = direction of praying*) is the truth from their Lord”. There isn't a iota of evidence to testify that jews and christians prayed in the direction of mecca or knew anything about this!

Contradiction 58 - 10:92, Allah speaks to Pharaoh who ferociously chased the Children of Israel, "But this day We save you in your body, that you may be a portent for those after you." 43:55 "Therefore We seized him and his hosts and abandoned them unto the sea ... But We drowned him and those with him, all together ... And [We] drowned them, everyone." Ramses II did not die by drowning, and on top of that he did not die until several years after the possible exodus in ca. 1235 BC - both according to science. Contradiction 59 - 40:67: It is He Who has created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does He get you out (into the light) as a child; then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; Wrong. You were not made from a sperm drop. You were made from the fusing of a sperm cell and an egg cell - the egg cell even is by far the biggest. From other places in the Quran it is clear that Muhammad believed the sperm was “seeds planted” in a woman, and there started to grow to become a foetus and then a baby. Any one inch tall god had known that was wrong. Contradiction 60 - 41:9 Say: "Is it that ye deny Him Who created the earth in two Days? and do ye join equals with Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds." Was this earth created in two days? Proof please!

Contradiction 61 - 41:12 So He completed them as seven firmaments in two Days and He assigned to each heaven its duty and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (provided it) with guard. Such is the Decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, Full of Knowledge. The quran talks about the sky, the atmosphere or outer space as formed by 7 firmaments a common misconception of those times and it took millions of years to form. If he means the starry night sky - which most often is meant when one uses the word “firmament” - it all started 13,7 billion years ago according to science, and may be the first stars became visible 13,4 billion years ago - - - and the creation is still not completed. It definetly did not take two days to create what to us appears as the sky, allah did not have a clue!

Contradiction 62 - 41:10 He set on the (earth). Mountains standing firm, high above it, and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four Days, in accordance with (the needs of) those who seek (sustenance). It took millions of years - and only with the cooling down of the Earth it was possible to make any kind of life and nurishment possible. It definetly took a lot longer than 4 days!!

Contradiction 63 - 41:12:“- - - and (provided it) (the lowest heaven*) with guard”. We know from other places in the Quran, that this “guard” are stars mistaken for shooting stars used against bad spirits wanting to spy on the heavens. The only place such “information” fits today, is in fairy tales. Who composed the Quran? Again and again the quran is showing muhammad's complete ignorance of basic astronomy and physics.

Contradiction 64 - 41:42: “No falsehood can approach it (the Quran*) Really?! so far it reads like an old arabian fairy tale full of erroneous legends, myths, and stories

Contradiction 65 - 42:13: “The same religion (Islam*) has He (Allah*) established for - - - Abraham, Moses, and Jesus”. Neither the Quran, nor Hadith, nor Islam has brought the sligthes valid proof for this - only words. And at least when it comes to Jesus, it is wrong. The teachings of Jesus and the ones of Muhammad are too different fundamentally. Anyone with a basic knowledge of the gospels and the quran knows that whilst jesus preached forgiveness muhammad preached revenge and conflict. Just follow the links on the left to the wars of muhammad.

Contradiction 66 - 43:10: “- - - and (Allah*) has made for you roads - - -”. I have never heard about a road made by a god, except perhaps in fairy tales. The paths/roads in Arabia were so old that no one remembered the start of them, this is why muhammad thought that roads had been made by allah.

Contradiction 67 - 43:56: “And We (Allah*) made them a people of the past - - -”. Wrong. Neither Ramses II nor the people of Egypt became a people of the past in the year 1235 BC (the approximate year of the possible exodus, according to science). It looks like muhammd is re-writing history as he goes along.

Contradiction 68 - Jesus never called god 'allah', muhammad did not have a clue about christianity. Of course muslims say thay jesus did call god 'allah' but christians have removed it from the gospels. However there isn't the slightes archeological or historical proof of this. 43:63] When 'Isa came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me. [43:64] "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way."

Contradiction 69 - 43:78: “- - - but most of you (non-Muslims*) have a hatred to the Truth.” Can you really blame non-muslims for non believing such an assortment of violent stories and arabian fairy tales?

Contradiction 70 - Who Was the First Muslim? As the quran was written over a period of twenty years it is clear that muhammad kept on fergetting what he had written previously. So in one verse he says that he was the first muslim on earth, then subsequently he says it was Moses, then the egyptian sorcerers, then Abraham, then the Jews, then Jesus and finally Adam!!! Some muslim apologists say that Jesus was the first muslim amongst christians, adam for humanity, abraham for the jews ( although in the quran Moses also says to be the first one to believe contradicting the verse where Abraham said to be the a muslim ), the egyptian sorcerers in egypt and so forth. Not only it is a ridiculous excuse and get out close but muhammad clearly said in sura 6:14 'I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah', it does not say the first for islam or the arabs.

Muhammad 6:14 Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah , and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah." , 6:163 "No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His Will." , Moses [7:143] "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe.", egyptian sorcerers 26:51 "Only, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the Believers!" , or Abraham [2:128 "Our Lord! Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will); and of our progeny a people Muslim, - 2:132 132] And this was the Legacy that Ibrahim left to his sons, and so did Ya'qub; "O my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the state of submission (to Allah). 3:67 67] Ibrahim was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah's (which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah. or Adam 2:37 Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful, the first man who also received inspiration from Allah, The Jews - 22:78 And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! Jesus "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims. S. 3:52

Another very important aspect of these incredible contradictions is that muhammad keeps on claiming that Jesus and his disciples called themselves muslims and called God 'Allah' and so did Adam, Abraham, Moses and the Jews. There isn't a shred of evidence to prove this outrageous claim and it is clearly a ridiculous invention of muhammad. How can anyone take these claims seriously?

Contradiction 71 - 46:2: The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. 49:13: “And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).”I don't doubt that the quran is from allah, however I have my doubts that allah is full of wisdom or is acquainted with all thingsand I suspect that allah is a fragment of muhammad's immagination as the quran always suits muhammad's desires for vengeance, booty, lust and slave trade.

Contradiction 72 - 46:10 Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), The jews in arabia had a very bad time during muhammad's wars many of them seeing their villages destroyed, their men killed and and their women and children taken as slaves. Yet we have no evidence that jews even if in order to appease him have declared that the quran was similar or the confirmation of their scriptures.

Contradiction 73 - 52:1 - 5 In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 5] By the Canopy Raised High. There is no canopy/material heaven, only optical illutions. What does it mean that Allah swears by something he should know did not exist?

Contradiction 74 - Can the sky fall on your head? 52:44: “Were they (non-Muslims*) to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would only say:’ Clouds gathered in heaps!” The sky is an optical illution . A piece of an optical illution cannot fall. Clouds also cannot fall on the earth! This book is getting sillier by the minute!

Contradiction 75 - 53: 3 - 5 "Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him: He was taught by one Mighty in Power. So muhammad does not speak out of his own desire but only by inspiration of a higher power? It is clear by all these tremendous mistakes and contradictions that there was no higher power talking to him as a higher power would not get so many things wrong. Also it is clear by the conduct of muhammad that he acted mainly prompted by his own desire.

Contradiction 76 - Allah swears by one of the smallest stars 53:49: “- - - He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star) - - -”. Sirius it not very mighty, even if it may look like that from Earth. It is a dwarf compared to stars like Betelgeuse, Aldebaran and millions more. And just a firecracker compared to f. ex. the enormously potent Eta Carinae (borderline enormous and expected to go nova in the astronomically near future). But yet again although allah created the universe it must have forgotten about this!

Contradiction 77 - 54:32: “But We (Allah*) have indeed made the Quran easy to understand - - -”. When muslims are confronted with the errors and blatant contradictions of the quran their only excuse is that particular verses can be interpreted in so many ways, so they keep changing their meanings to fit current knowledge. Separate books are needed to explain the Quran - there are many such ones. And if you read any of the good ones, you will find that even today there are points in the book Islam has not been able to understand, and even many more points they still do not know the exact meaning of - or which of two or more meanings is the correct one. An omniscient god had been able to compose a book that was possible to understand and impossible to misunderstand or not understand. Who composed the Quran?

Contradiction 78 - 55:14: “He (Allah*) created man from ringing clay like unto pottery”. Did he now?

Contradiction 79 - 55:24: “And His (Allah’s) are the Ships sailing - - -”. I never heard about a god owning ships. It cannot be literally meant. But the Quran says it is to be read literally.

Contradiction 80 - 56:70: “- - - We (Allah*) could make it (all rain*) salt - - -”. Not without changing both natural and the physical laws. If Islam insists it is true, they will have to prove it - words are cheap.

Contradiction 81 - 57:27 “- - - (Allah*) bestoved on him (Jesus*) the Gospel - - -”. For one thing is seems that Muhammad did not know there were 4 Gospels - he always use singular. Worse is that the Gospels were all written after his (Jesus) death. Muslims tries to “save the day” by insisting that Allah used another Gospel that is now disappeared - a standard way for Muslims to “explain” difficult points.

Contradiction 82 - 61:6: “- - - (Jesus said*) I am the Messenger of Allah - - -”. 61/14: “- - - said Jesus - - - to the Disciples,’ Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah? “Said the Disciples, ’We are Allah’s helpers” Jesus never called God allah! Jesus disciples never said that they were allah's helpers. Muhammad definetly had a self serving vivid immagination.

Contradiction 83 - 61:6: “ - - -(Jesus said: I am*) giving the glad Tiding of a Messenger to come after Me, whose name shall be Ahamd (another form of the name Muhammad*) I wonder how muslims can ever prove such an outrageous claim! Particularly when Jesus in the gospels prophetised that prophets will come after him as wolves in sheep's clothing who will be recognised by their violent and immoral actions! Matthew 7: 15- 20

Contradiction 84 - Again it is clear that over a period of 20 years muhammad, due to his poor memory, kept on forgetting the content of previous verses thus contradicting himself in later ones. Definitely not the work of an omniscent god! In the following verses you will see that first he says that an angel appeared before Mary but then the following two verses says that many angels appeared to Mary. 19:17 She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. - 3: 42 Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee, chosen thee above the women of all nations. 3:45 Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah giveth Thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Al-Masih 'Isa. The son of Maryam, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;

Contradiction 85 - And again muhammad keeps on forgetting his previous verses. First he says that allah in one of his usual enraged days destroyed Aad in one day but later on he says that he destroyed in 7 days and nights - 54:19 For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster - 69:7 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as if they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down!

Contradiction 86 - 81:2: “When (at the Last Day*) the stars (here it is talk about the real stars, not shooting stars*) fall (on Earth*), loosing their lustre - - -”. The stars cannot fall on earth - never according to science.

Contradiction 87 - 87:19: “The Books of Abraham and Moses - - - ”. Abraham had no books according to science, again muhammad is getting his stories from spurious sources.

Contradiction 88 - This nonsense keeps on getting worse! 91:4: “By the Night as it conceals it (the sun*)”. The night does not conceal the sun - there is night because the Earth makes a shade. It is 180 degrees different from what Muhammad told: There is night because the Earth in its rotation conceals the sun. Any god knew that.

Contradiction 89 - allah did not know that the moon does not follow the sun.

[91:2] By the Moon as it follows (the Sun); since when does the moon follow the sun! This is ridiculous.

Contradiction 90 - The torah was written over a long period of time and it was not revealed at one go to moses!

[2: 53] And remember We gave Musa the Scripture and the Criterion (between right and wrong), there was a chance for you to be guided aright. [6/154] “We (Allah*) gave Moses the Book, - - -”. As said some times before: The 5 books of Moses (the Torah) were written 400-700 years later according to science. Moses only got the 10 commandments.

The 10 commandments were given to Moses and that could be interpreted as 'the criterion' mentioned in the above verse however it is now clear that the main jewish scriptures or Torah were written over a long period of time by many authors. The belief that the torah had been revealed in one occasion was an erroneous belief held by some jews at that time. Muhammad simply copied it. Further reading

Contradiction 91 - Does everything obey Allah? 30:26 "Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him." Then why in so many quranic verses he condemns unbelievers and disobedient people to hell?

Lying forbidden: Sura 2:42

"Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth."

Lying condoned: Sura 66:1-2

"O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful. Allah has already ordained for you (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your protector, and He is full of knowledge and wisdom."

Commentary: In 2:42 Muslims are instructed not to lie, generally a wise precept. But sura 66 tells a different story, one that sheds a great deal of light on the self-serving nature of some of Muhammad's "revelations".

Muhammad had several wives, among them Hafsah and Ayshah. In the interests of fairness (fairness!!) a revolving schedule was established wherein his wives would take turns to be with him - each woman would get one day at a time. But one day Muhammad decided to violate this schedule; he slept with one of his wives, Mary, on a day that was supposed to be another woman's turn. Hafsah found out about this and threatened to tell Muhammad's apparent favorite, Ayshah. To prevent her from doing this, Muhammad promised he would not touch Mary again, but Hafsah told the other women anyway. According to tradition, the Prophet reacted by becoming angry and secluding himself, ignoring all his consorts except Mary for several weeks.

Fortunately, it was at this point that Allah, the infinite, all-powerful creator of the universe, decided to step in and resolve this domestic dispute. If the text is to be believed, he explicitly gave Muhammad permission to break his promise not to touch Mary (to lie, in other words), then threatened the prophet's other wives with hellfire and eternal torture if they did not repent and obey their husband.

Contradiction 94 - Where is the evidence that allah transformed jews into apes?

[2:65] And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath; We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected." [2:66] So We made it an example to their own time and to their posterity, and a lesson to those who fear Allah

Here allah clearly says that he transformed some jews into apes as an example for posterity. However there is no evidence whatsoever of any human being transformed into an ape. So posterity will not witness this lesson and example of allah's wrath!

Contradiction 95 - This verse ends saying that allah has knowledge of all things. How can God send a book with so many mistakes?

[4:176] And Allah hath knowledge of all things.

Contradiction 96 - Who is to be worshipped?

Allah alone is to be worshipped: Sura 51:56

"And I (Allah) created not the jinns and men except they should worship Me (alone)."

Sometimes other beings are to be worshipped: Sura 2:34

"And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam, they did obeisance, but Iblis (did it not). He refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers."

Commentary: As the creed in the very first pillar of Islam states, La ilaha illallah - "none has the right to be worshipped but Allah". Yet Allah himself seems to feel differently about this, as he ordered the angels to bow to and worship Adam, and punished Satan for not doing so.

Contradiction 97 - Can anyone change God's words?

No: Sura 6:115
"Perfected is the word of thy Lord in truth and justice. There is naught that can change His words."

Yes: Sura 2:75
"Have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the word of Allah, then used to change it, after they had understood it, knowingly?"

Are the Torah and the Gospel - the Bible's Old and New Testaments - the word of God? If not now, were they ever? The Qur'an seems to think so. Verses such as 3:3, 5:44, 5:46, 5:110 and so on state that both the Torah and the Gospel were earlier revelations from God to prophets who preceded Muhammad, which by definition makes them God's word.

The problem - and the contradiction - is this. Verses such as 6:115 state that no one can change God's word. The Torah and the Gospel are God's word. Yet Muslims do not follow these books because, they claim, they have been altered and corrupted by men - as verses such as 2:75 demonstrate. But how can this be? If these books ever were God's word, then how was it even possible to change them?

Contradiction 98 - 79:24: “(Pharaoh Ramses II*) Saying: ‘I am your Lord (in this connection: Your god*), most High’”. The pharaoh was not the “most high” god in the old Egypt.- Absolutely wrong, the pharaohs considered themselves as a divine incarnation or a representative of god's light on earth but they never claimed to be the highest god. Muhammad had no clue about basic history!

Contradiction 99 - 105:3+4: “- - - Han (Allah*) sent against them Flights of Birds, Striking them with stones of baked clay.” This refer to an attack from Abyssinia in 570 AD. The vice king Abrhah or Abrah, lost much of his army because of a virulent illness - perhaps smallpox - and had to return home without attacking Mecca. The troops were NOT killed by stones from birds. (Muslims sometimes try to “explain” the clear text and the as clear mistake away by some linguistic gymnastics that includes that the Arab word for stone and the one for writings are not dissimilar, and if they think that these words have been mixed up (in a holy book sent down by Allah, and without mistakes, and then say the meaning is metaphorical (in a book the Allah says shall be understood as it is written), it may not mean stones, but hard physical strikes. Muslims frequently have too use far out “explanations” like this to try to camouflage mistakes.

Contradiction 100 - According to S. 4:157 the unbelieving Jews boasted by saying, "We killed the Messiah ( Al-Masih ) Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah." The only problem with this is that the unbelieving Jews never admitted that Jesus was Messiah and would not have killed him if they had believed that he was their long-awaited Messianic Deliverer. The unbelieving Jews had Jesus killed because they believed he was a false Messiah: Muslim apologists try to justify this by saying that it does not say the messiah, however al-masih in arabic clearly means the messiah!

In S. 17:1 we are told that Muhammad was taken to the farthest Mosque, Masjid al-Aqsa. The problem with this is that the Aqsa Mosque had not been erected since Abd al-Malik only built it in AD 691. It cannot be referring to the Temple in Jerusalem since that was destroyed by the armies of the Roman general Titus in AD 70.

Contradiction 101 - The following verse describes that muhammad was taken on a winged horse in a night journey To Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa - The Farthest Mosque and muslims have always claimed that this mosque was located in Jerusalem 17:1 Glory to (Allah) Who did take His Servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless. The problem with this is that the Aqsa Mosque had not been erected since Abd al-Malik only built it in AD 691. It cannot be referring to the Temple in Jerusalem since that was destroyed by the armies of the Roman general Titus in AD 70.

Muslim apologists say : " The verse 17:1 refers to the holy locations in Jerusalem and Makkah because they are blessed regardless of the presence or absence of a building at the time of the heavenly trip of Prophet Muhammad. From an Islamic point of view, evidence has been given by eminent Muslim scholars like Ibn Hajar and Ibn al-Jawzi showing that it was Adam who built both mosques for the first time and that the job of Abraham and Solomon was only a renovation/reconstruction of these sanctuaries" So muslim justify this monumental mistake by saying that masjid refers to any place where there is worship however the verse clearly says allah will bless the 'precints' which indicate a construction. Then they say that it was a place of worship because Adam had built a mosque there! Yes you heard right, they say that Adam and Eve built a mosque in Jerusalem! LOL

Contradiction 102 - The two seas - Muslims are in a joyous approar when they quote the following verse: "He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress". (Quran, 55:19-20)

New Testament Acts 27:38-41

40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore. 41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves. You can clearly see that there is a meeting point which is stable between two seas a concept clearly plagiarised by the quran from the new testament. What is almost most important to notice is the above quran verse says: "He has set free the two seas meeting together". He is not talking of a meeting point between any two seas he is talking about a point where "the two seas" meet. This again was a misconception of the time that the whole world is devided between two seas, the persian sea and the roman sea. This idea originated in the persian empire and it was prevalent in the arab world during the time of muhammad. Allah does not know best! Another verse they quote with great gusto is this one "It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed". 25:53. What is so miraculous about this verse? People throughout the ages have noticed that the salt water of the sea and the sweet water of the rivers did not mixed otherwise the salt water would have entered into the river waters and made them salty!

Contradiction 103 - How can a book with so many contradictions and inconsistencies be revealed by god?

Was the quran from allah? Read this incredible story of how one of the main scribes of muhammad left him accusing him of making up the revelations:

The scribes of Muhammad were 42 in number. `Abdallah Ibn Sarh al-`Amiri was one of them, and he was the first Quraishite among those who wrote in Mecca before he turned away from Islam. He started saying, "I used to direct Muhammad wherever I willed. He would dictate to me 'Most High, All-Wise', and I would write down 'All-Wise' only. Then he would say, 'Yes it is all the same'. On a certain occasion he said, 'Write such and such', but I wrote 'Write' only, and he said, 'Write whatever you like.'" So when this scribe exposed Muhammad, he wrote in the Qur'an, "And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or says, 'To me it has been revealed', when naught has been revealed to him." So on the day Muhammad conquered Mecca, he commanded his scribe to be killed. But the scribe fled to `Uthman Ibn `Affan, because `Uthman was his foster brother (his mother suckled `Uthman). `Uthman, therefore, kept him away from Muhammad. After the people calmed down, `Uthman brought the scribe to Muhammad and sought protection for him. Muhammad kept silent for a long time, after which he said yes. When `Uthman had left, Muhammad said "I only kept silent so that you (the people) should kill him." Al-Sira by al-'Iraqi
